In response to numerous requests, the Real Time Tracker has been rewritten to allow the use of a direct link from any web site
to track an APRS station.
The following instructions explain how to create a link on your web site to display the Tracker Program that tracks your APRS
The Base CGI URL for the Tracker program is the following with aprscall
being the APRS Station Callsign and SSID to be Tracked. (Example: k6ib-9)
This will display a Tracker Map in Single Map View mode for the station requested. The Icon, Map Type and Zoom
Level will be set to the Default Values. You can Customize your map by adding additional information to the end of the Base URL
as explained below.
To have your map come up in the Dual Map View mode with two independently adjustable maps, add the following
to the Base URL.
There are 8 Custom Icons that can be used to show the stations location on the map. To use one of these icons
for your map, add the following to the Base URL with iconnumber being an icon
number from one of those on the Right.
There are 4 Base Map Types that can be used for the tracker. If you would like a Type other than the Default
to come up when the tracker is loaded, add the following to the Base URL with maptype
being the Type Number from one of those listed on the right.
Only set type1 for Single Map mode. Both a type1 and type2 may be set if using Dual Map mode.

There are 18 Map Zoom Levels that can be used for the tracker. If you would like a Zoom Level other than the
Default to be used when the tracker is loaded, add the following to the Base URL with zoomlevel being a Zoom Level Number Between 1 and 18 as shown on the right.
Only set zoom1 for Single Map mode. Both a zoom1 and zoom2 may be set if using Dual Map mode.
